Photo Manipulation Software
Sometimes it may be necessary to doctor a panoramic movie.
Perhaps you would like to get rid of a shadow or add a 'tripod
cap' (some companies place their logo over where the tripod
was in the shot so as to hide it).
It may also be necessary to alter the levels and brightness
of a movie. This is best done in an image editing package such
as Photoshop when the file has been converted to a TIFF.
If your virtual tour is to have hotspots then perhaps you
would like arrows of a company logo inserted into each image
where there is a clickable hotspot (see www.revolutionviewing.com/stoneleighdevelopment for an example).
Manipulation adds to the overall time
it takes to create a full tour, converting files, ammending
them and then converting
them back to their original format can be a time consuming
and lenghty process. If you are having a specialist create
your virtual tour then you would expect the best results, so
this is a process that can't be skipped. Just remember, the
more images you want to have doctored and the more changes
the more expensive your virtual tour will be.
