Stitching Software

Stitching software is used to blend the photographs to create a panoramic movie. There are many different types of software available ranging from freeware to professional studios costing in excess of £400. The type of Software used comes down to whether it is going to stitch single or multi-row panoramas, the type of file needed when exported, speed/quality at which the images are to be stitched, lens used and budget available.

Some pieces of software require 'manual' stitching and others have a built in auto stitching process. VR Worx is good for auto stitching, but can only stitch single row panoramas. Realviz Stitcher is generally considered to be one of the best pieces of software for stitching multi-row panoramas.
